If you're sharing with a group of people, firstly you will have to select the file by long pressing it or right-clicking If using a smartphone or laptop respectively. Then you will choose the share option, once you've chosen that option then you will have to input the different emails of the group members. Depending on the rights you want to impose on the file then you can restrict it as the viewer, commenter, or editor. Then you push the send button.
So when you're sharing it with a single person, the process is the same even with the restrictions you may want to impose on the file you're sending. The only difference is that you only input one email you'll be sharing to.
